    I actually came here looking to share this too and you beat me to it by minutes. I found this initially linked in this Reuters article https://www.reuters.com/world/us/suspect-arrested-after-molo... about a firebombing attempt at Sam Altman's home.

    I think this poll really goes to show just how unpopular AI is with the majority of people, and how out of touch with on-the-ground reality a lot of this forum is. Many people here sing praises to AI and talk gleefully of a future where code is all machine-written.

    Meanwhile, in the real world, the main effects of AI have been job losses, consumer price increases, electricity cost increases, and slop displacing genuine content. Most consumer interaction with AI is in the form of customer support bots replacing actual people, and unwanted features crammed into windows, gmail, and basically every silicon valley product.

    I think it would do many in the silicon valley bubble good to look around, before the entire edifice comes crashing down.
