The .new TLD is very restrictive, it is intended to be used for launching a new something, e.g: docs.new creates a new Google Doc. Your domain does not launch a new "bi" (whatever that is). The .new TLD is managed by Google and they do enforce this requirement.

    > .new is a domain extension exclusively for performing new actions online: any act that leads to creation can have a quick and memorable .new shortcut associated with it. Help your customers take action faster. Less time clicking means more time creating.

    You will lose your domain.

    > While anyone can register, domains that don’t comply with this usage policy may be suspended or deleted by Google Registry without refund.

AI focused new BI products are a wash, your focus should be a new BI product with maybe an AI integration (Not the other way around), or an AI integration to an existing BI product. The BI tool Kanaries / PyGWalker is a good example of where python based BI tooling should be going, replacing big corp BI tools to get CDO/CIO's to go the direction of abandoning Tableau/PBI for lower infra and platfrom cost, open source tooling & integration.

I am not saying its a bad idea, but your net is wide, very wide, you are trying to conquer two separate area. Both areas need innovation in the data space, but I think the AI rush is dieing down. Claude and GPT offer good support for PowerBI and Tableau, but there are no extension integrations. This is where BI AI should be, AI's integrated into Tableau workbooks editing the core XML of the workbooks, offering translation tooling to convert Prep to Alteryx, Tableau to PBI...etc.

It's also hard sell if your core platform doesn't cover SSO, Encryption, DB integrations, Self Deployment, RBAC's, PenTest, Corps looks for these things immediately, and BI tools are purely a Corp thing not a Consumer thing.

That said its a cool idea and implementation.

Congrats on the launch. We are also doing something similar and will be here for a long term.

          Cool work!

I've been working on a similar product. Users can select between Streamlit/Shiny: https://editor.ploomber.io/ - so not necessarily for BI (although you can use it for that), but more broadly focused on data apps.

Hello fellow builder. I think the BI space is definitely ripe for change and I do wish more products had better dashboards for users!

That being said, embedded analytics is a tough space, because established BI tools (PowerBI, etc.) can be used and are preferred by data teams, or software engineers just fiddle directly with things like plotly or highcharts.

Similarly by now "AI Analytics" is getting crowded: https://github.com/Snowboard-Software/awesome-ai-analytics

Looking forward to watching your journey and ideas!

Congrats on launch. I watched the demo video, the UI looks nice. Is it possible to write raw Python or SQL to query data? Do you have automatic interval refresh of data? What databases do you support?

Honestly my largest feedback is what does it integrate with? Present this on the homepage instantly. The documentation doesn't cover it, and clicking "+ database" has me sign up. I'm not going to sign up unless I can do what I need to do and I don't know if I can if I don't know how the dataset is configured or what it can pull / be streamed from.

This is super cool -- I wonder if the next step in this would be to suggest specific dashboards to monitor based on the data that a company collects.

This sounds like what ServiceNow and Salesforce would be building if their best hackers ran the show.

Very hard problem but I hope it works out! This is cool.

bin is probably a bad name since its name of a directory in linux. how about bintel ?

Also in UK and AU English (and likely others) it’s the word for trashcan.

Pray your office is free of folks who think bin puns are funny & original.
