I like this! HN gatherings used to happen in the past in various cities, are they still a thing? I’m envious of the irl meetings ACX community is having.
Sounds cool, I may add such functionalities to the app if the app is used by a certain number of users.
What if you made it so any group could use the app? Like Meetup?
Why not go to the ACX meetups then? The overlap with topics HN likes is very strong.

The app perpetually says "1 online users" and won't let me start a call. Unsure if there really are 0 users or if it's bugged/broken.
Hi, It is normal that you see "1 online users", which means you are the only online user using the app at that specific time.
I had a chance to have coffee chat with a few people as the founder of the app but I accept that the number of online users throughout the day is pretty low.
It is generally between 1-3 nowadays.
Perhaps we can have more active users if this post goes to the homepage and we have thousands of HN users downloading it.

I think you should be able to download it from the market if you become a tester after you joined to the group.
