I've seen content makers with the same comment outdoors. I do wonder if the answer is just to remove that rubber boot.
Now that you mention it, seems easier than custom milling a solid-copper oversized heatsink for the thing...to be fair, he does use his indoors and mostly stationary I believe, but yeah, maybe even drilling a few discrete holes in it and leaving it largely stock if you're using it with decent ventilation.
