Current Recommended Extensions here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search/?promoted=re...
What is your pick? Self-promotion OK if honest and disclosed.
Mine would be LibRedirect: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/libredirect/
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/libraryextens...
Automatically queries libraries for book availability and displays the info online on Amazon (and similar) pages.
https://josh-berry.github.io/tab-stash/ (I see that OneTab is on the list and IMO tab-stash is a much better answer to the problem OneTab tries to solve)
EDIT: I see tab-stash is already on the list :D
Do Recommended extensions get reviewed by Mozilla before every update? Or is it an annual review kind of deal?
Yes they get reviewed with each update [1]. That is probably the reason why ublock origin versions are delayed on Firefox compared to other stores.

Can I help un-select pocket? How about un-selecting web extensions version 3?
In about:config, set pocket.enabled to false. I have it so since 2019 and it has remained disabled.
Pocket is not part of Recommended Extensions. List here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search/?promoted=re...
I mean, if you go into about:config and search pocket, it can be disabled pretty easily if that's your jive.
Is it even a good idea to join that program?
Mozilla would basically tell you what to do, takes longer to approve extensions, etc
I will never install a non-recommended extension. Extensions have all the permissions. Only takes one sellout developer to compromise your security.
Which is why we now have ublock origin.
They don't have all the permissions. They state which ones they require, which can be none at all.
